RBF operates within the environment of the South African Broadcasting Corporation Limited (SABC), which is South Africa’s National Public Broadcaster. RBF provides broadcasting studios — fitted with the technologically most advanced equipment available — for all the public broadcasters.

Radio Digital Systems (RDS):

RDS is one of the exciting departments under RBF which is responsible for the provision, maintenance and support of computerized Radio production and play-out systems specifically Dalet and RCS .

Dalet is used by PBS radio stations and Radio News, and RCS is used by Commercial radio stations. Air Time sales do scheduling and spot capturing on Dalet. RCS selector music scheduling system is used by all SABC radio stations.

- stations from Dalet 5.0 and Dalet 5.1
- to DaletPlus.
